ABOUT RUSSELL:

Russell Langbein has worked in public accounting since 1994, where he developed an interest in taxation for individuals and closely held businesses. He worked his way up to become a Tax Manager in an Austin based firm upon his ability to service clients in a knowledgeable, efficient manner. After ten years with that firm, his expertise gained him the trust of hundreds of individuals and businesses. Those relationships and networks of influence inspired Russell to establish his own practice.

With 13 years of experience, Russell decided to venture out and establish a tax practice of his own, Russell Langbein, CPA, PC, in the rapidly growing community of Georgetown, Texas. The two main reasons why he chose Georgetown to establish his practice are because Georgetown is the place he calls home. He and his family have lived in Georgetown since 1996, and his wife has lived in Georgetown nearly her entire life. Secondly, the population in Georgetown and the surrounding communities is expected to double in the next ten years. With this growth, the demand for Russell's services will be increasing as well. Such services include his passion for saving his clients money through his understanding of the Internal Revenue Code and development of strategic ways to maximize his clients' tax savings.

Russ has extensive experience with many small and medium size businesses in a multitude of industries, including, but not limited to: Computers, construction, engineering, landscaping, law, medical/dental, personal care, real estate, restaurant, retail, security, transportation, and utilities.

A 1994 graduate of Southwest Texas State University. A member of the Austin Chapter of CPA's and Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants; he also has extensive committee experience with Toastmasters and Business Network International, having served on numerous and various committees at the state and local levels.
